DRUMROLL PLEASE…WINNERS OF SHOW AND TELL 2009!

Hey Everyone! I’m very excited to announce the winners of the 2009 “Show and Tell with Adaline” Contest!

We received some really great submissions and I want to thank the artists for their creative brilliance and the promoters for pushing really hard to spread word about my music and The Peak Performance Project!
As far as The Peak Performance Project goes…I unfortunately didn’t place in the Top 3 this year, but was named 4th place. As the 4th place artist, I am automatically entered into the Top 20 next year and will have another shot at sharing $275,000!

So, I will probably have another competition similar to this one in 2010!

Without furthur delay:

WINNER OF “SHOW” (Art Submission) – CHRISTINA LUDWIKA RZEPA, Muzyka, musical submission – Adae and the Raven!

This cello piece will be featured in my upcoming musical release in March 2010! Stay tuned! Listen to the winning submission here: http://www.zshare.net/audio/689371325f4c67a4/

Music Submission, Muzyka

Here we have another great submission!

This is a track composed by Christina Ludwika Rzepa, the artist is Muzyka (http://www.myspace.com/muzykaproject). The piece is called “Adae (and the Raven)”. It’s a haunting and emotional instrumental piece that we’re sure you’ll enjoy. The artist suggests listening to the composition “along with an Edgar Allen Poe poem and a snifter of brandy”. I love that!
Take it in and let us know what you think!

Muzyka – “Adae (and the Raven)”

And don’t forget, we’ve got only a few days left to vote (http://www.peakperformanceproject.com/?page_id=1113) Please remember to ask a few friends to vote as well.

An Opportunity for Bonus Points in the “Tell” Competition

Hey!

So THIS Saturday November 21st at 1:30pm a gathering of people from the Vancouver Street Team are getting together at the Olympic Village SkyTrain Station for a Flash Mob.  A Flash Mob is when a random activity, organized through the internet, occurs in the city spontaneously.  We are getting together and having a dance party on the Vancouver Sky Train!  People will file onto the train, not speaking to each other, and then “Whiter/Straighter” will play on a boom box afterwhich Adaline Street Team Members on the train will get up and dance while handing out voting cards and CDs!  We have members from the UBC dance team coming out to dance as well!

It will be a fantastic time.  But I was thinking…it doesn’t just have to happen in Vancouver!  If you live outside of Vancouver, you could organize a similar event happening at the same time in YOUR city!  You could have a dance party on a bus, in a store, in the mall, at your school, at your work, pretty much ANYWERE!  If you pull together a group of friends and make our Flash Mob National, or INTERNATIONAL, please Video Tape it and send it to adalinecontest@gmail.com.  If you are participating in the “Tell” portion of this contest, you could score some serious points and potentially win a visit from me to your city, anywhere in the world!

Email me with ANY questions!  ADALINECONTEST@GMAIL.COM

An international “Whiter/Straighter” dance party?  sweet.
